Public Statement # 3

The Mapuche Political Prisoners of the Mapuche Communities of Choque in Territorial Reclamation, on hunger strike, arrested in Concepción Prison denounce the following:

1. Once again, this week there has been an attempt to transfer us to the Legal Medical Institute of Concepción in order to submit us to DNA sampling.

1. Our position has always been to resist unto this situation, since we are sure that evidence will be fabricated to accuse us, on the part of the Prosecution and Intelligence agents of the PDI. At the same time, we consider that this hurts our dignity as people, specifically attacking the fact that we are Mapuche.

1. As a result of our negation, the Prosecution has solicited authorization to forcefully extract such DNA samples, unto the Civil and Military Courts, which would be a true act of torture if carried out.

1. Therefore, we call on our Mapuche pu Peñi and pu Lamwen (brothers and sisters) to remain alert and reject all these pressuring measures and harassment (imposed transfers, segregation, DNA samples, etc.) since this violates our condition as Political Prisoners.

1. At the same time, we call out on Human Rights organizations to pronounce themselves and denounce these acts of state terrorism.

END THE APPLICATION OF THE ANTI-TERRORIST LAW AND MILITARY JUSTICE!

STOP THE FORCED TRANSFER OF MAPUCHE POLITICAL PRISONERS!

STOP THE HARRASMENT TO OUR FAMILIES AND REPRESSION ON OUR COMMUNITIES!

STOP THE MURDERS OF MAPUCHE PEOPLE BY CHILEAN POLICE!
