CHILE: We Say STOP the State Terrorism of Michelle Bachelet’s Social-Fascist Chilean Government!!!

This September 11th will mark the 36th anniversary of the bloody coup that the Chilean State imposed on the government of Salvador Allende, constitutional President of Chile. The repressive forces lead by Augusto Pinochet Ugarte, Chief of the Chilean Military, colluded with the various State powers; supporting and defending the shameful action of force and subjugation unto the world. In this way detaining the forces of history; a history that still remains detained today, trapped in time, where only the dignity of men and women will have to convert them into reality one day…
 
Hundreds of thousands fell trying to defend that utopia. Thousands upon thousands were tortured, murdered, disappeared… The State Terrorism imposed on that September 11, was maintained for 17 years, despite the dispatched resistance. It was enough time to change the political, social, and economic system of the country, through a constitution institutionalized at gun point, drawn in blood, in 1980.
 
It was a 360 degree change, and even today it does not vary in density. The laws and transformations that the fascist dictator imposed in Chile, remain as vigilant and they were back then. Of course, with a few embellishments to savage capitalism - a few scraps given away from the huge pie of those who maintain themselves in power through lies and deceit, through the ignorance of a submerged society in credit cards, reality shows, bad BBQs and sports fanatics. This in counteraction with an invisible society sleepwalking through the streets, scratching the glass, walls and everything in their path in order to survive.
 
The dictatorship represents one of the darkest periods in Chilean history; one of many, not the only one, because our history is doused in blood and genocide committed by the Chilean State since its birth in 1810. As in the year 1818, where Bernardo O’Higgins, ill-named "Forefather of Chile," (of nation built on another Nation) is who annexes the Mapuche Nation to Chile. This gave way for the armed invasion, destined to make the culture; dream; world view and right to live disappear from a millennial culture, without respecting the laws or the treaties of the age.
 
If they were capable of such a perverse and shameful act against an entire population, why should we respect a racist, classist, stealing and murderous institution of children, elders, men and women that had the right to construct their own destiny, and are now under laws that dictate their world view, and thousands of years of existence?
 
As we can see, it not the first time that the Chilean State and their repressive political structure, the Armed Forces, attack entire communities, devastating the lives of innocent people. Always in a cowardly form; as was the cowardly Coup d'Etat to Salvador Allende; as is the cowardly criminalization of today's youth that do not align themselves under the permitted status of savage Chilean Neo-Liberalism; as is the cowardly and repulsive genocide that wishes to impose itself on Mapuche Territory.
 
In today's Chile, the State acquires new forms of repression, and uses its representatives: the governments in turn, as it has always done so. They satisfy the requirements with more or less pleasure, as is the case of Michelle Bachelet, which on one hand being a "Socialist" administers a savage neoliberal model inherited from Pinochet. She governs with a Fascist Constitution, the same which Pinochet imposed in 1980; she the same economic and political model of development as the dictator did. She uses the same laws that were implemented in Fascist Germany during the 1930's, such as the Anti-Terrorist law that her government uses to repress, incarcerate and exterminate the Mapuche people in Wallmapu, so-called southern Chile.
 
The painful and shameful example of her government is the cowardly murder of Mapuche youth, Matías Catrileo Quezada in January, 2008, and Jaime Mendoza Collío in August of August (of last month), 2009; the two murdered by a shot to the back by Chilean police officers and under similar circumstances.
 
These treacherous and immune crimes will not be erased so easily from the minds of their brothers who struggle for the liberation and reclamation of the ancient rights of the Mapuche Nation. The stains of Mapuche blood will always be present in the archives of history, as much as there intends to be justification to wipe the face of the "Socialist" President, who was educated in Washington and specialized in defense and security. In addition to the blood of Alex Lemun, murdered in November 2003 and all the young martyrs that were tortured and murdered during these shameful governments....
 
For this and much more, we go on the streets on September 11th to denounce to the world these crimes hide beneath the facade and skirt of the so-called Chilean democracy.
