OFFICIAL NOTICE PUBLIC Nº2

With date 03 of January of 2008 our Lof Yeupeko-Fillkun, taking care of the permanent state of mobilization in which we were from 2001, we have made during the dawn entrance and symbolic occupation of I found “Santa Margarita” in order to reaffirm our desicion as much to recover this estate as to reaffirm our commitment with the fight of our Mapuche Town.

Our social bases, in a recent Trawun, programmed this act of occupation on the basis of driving Pacific of governmental function and massive (nonoffensive) on the part of those who we made the occupation, so that by the same our Longko they prohibited the use of any type of firearm that could cause an unnecessary shock between Customs officers and we.

The death of our brother Mati­as Catrileo caused by the demential and cowardly action of the police has left us with an immense pain that single we will surpass fighting as it fought since lof was integrated to ours. First of all the happened thing we want to deny and to denounce the following points:

1 That our brother Mati­as Catrileo was assassinated by the back to shot of a submachine gun shot by Customs officers of Chile.

2 That of our part did not exist use of any type of Firearm during the occupation which we made, reason why the version of the police that attacked to us is fully false and that it responds to an elaborated repressive plan in the offices of that Mrs. Bachelet. It was not an accident, premeditaded and it was elaborated by her and his partisans of government.

3 Which the delay in the delivery of the body of Mati­as had to do with a logical question and of common sense of not putting into the hands of its assassins its mortal rest thus to avoid any type of malicious manipulation that hides to the responsibility of Mr. Walter Thorny Ramirez.

4 Which you do not conform to assassinating our people the government has militarized the zone and he is making levellings, arbitrary retentions and haltings and  abusive controls through Customs officers and Police of investigations day and night until the hour of this official notice.

5 Which this clumsy action of the Government has ignited fire in our veins and that we lower neither to the arms nor the head before no repression. With this fact they force to us to harden our position and to legitimize any resistance. A time approaches in which the Mapuche we will return to the undesired war, forced to the violence to clean wallmapu of the capitalist sweepings and the criminal large estate.
